Print Design

Design is an organized plan for a definite purpose or function. Designing is not mere drawing or use of pen pencil in a drawing to show how something is to be made pleasing to the eye. It is a mental activity to create an idea for communication. Communication by vision is the scope of designing, particularly in printing. The creative process of underlying the fabrication of satisfactory pattern in visualizing an idea is called a design. The object of design is to transfer the idea from one’s mind to that of the reader. Thus, design is the process of creating, evaluating, selecting and arranging the elements which make up a printed page.

Design is a complex combination of many forces; the designer’s taste, talent, experience and his knowledge. It is creative and intuitive; and so it defies scientific analysis and formulae. It is helpful to study the broad principles of design to form a frame of reference. It involves various principles and stages of work. When we know the principles we can use them spontaneously and effectively. Thus design to be produced is presented in the form of a layout containing all the elements and the necessary information, based on the various principles of proportion, harmony, contrast, balance, rhythm, movements etc.

Internet In form

The Internet plays a key role in keeping communication going all over the world. The Internet currently spans 145 countries and has more than 60 million users. Internet is providing people with facilities such as online banking, shopping, up-to-date research database on every topic, stock quotes, and weather. In fact, you can even read a whole newspaper off the Internet. People are using e-mail as a faster way of delivering messages than mailing letters. People from far-flung and remote corners have been able to interact through the Internet.

All in all, those are just a few illustrations to show how the Internet, which is simply a network of computer’s, is becoming a necessity and basis of communication. The internet has forever changed the way we get our information. Though the technology has been around for about 40 years it was not perfected until the early to mid 1990's. Internet has made communication very easy and very simple. Internet can also be used for education as well. Online transactions and even video calling can be done in real time all around the world. Internet can be used to listen to music and watching movies and for other entertainment activities. Internet is today’s mode of communication.

Music Mind

Music affects us all. Music impacts us at an emotional level. Listening to music and playing music actually can alter how our brains, and therefore our bodies, function. It seems that the healing power of music, over body and spirit, is only just starting to be understood, even though music therapy is not new. For many years therapists have been advocating the use of music - both listening and study - for the reduction of anxiety and stress, the relief of pain. And music has also been recommended as an aid for positive change in mood and emotional states.

Doctors now believe using music therapy in hospitals and nursing homes not only makes people feel better, but also makes them heal faster. And across the nation, medical experts are beginning to apply the new revelations about music’s impact on the brain to treating patients. Music has a healing effect. What would life be without music? The world would be a very quiet place. Music is a direct reflection of the picture of society. Music can be a way to deliver messages, a poetic medium, a fine art, or nothing more than a source of entertainment. No matter what it is used for, music is the perfect art and our lives would be that much less complete without it that life as we know it would not at all be the same without Music is the perfect art.

De-Stress

We are currently living in a capitalist society where money and power rule. Therefore, many of us have become workaholics and often overlook signs of tiredness in order to stay on track. I am not saying that people should stop working hard to achieve their goals. However, there is a slight problem we do not know how to manage our stress, which is definitely not a good thing. Stress has been linked to mental or emotional expressions such as depression, anxiety, and anger and physical illnesses (weakens the immune system).

Therefore, it is more than important that you constantly work on reducing your stress level in order to maintain your overall health. The bottom line is, if we are not healthy there is no money or power that will make things better. So, take care of yourself. Stress can be release by simple ways such as taking a 15 minute walk, by laughing and taking a break. The best ways to laugh out is to rent some funny movies and going out or gathering with friends. Take time to relax, may be even go for a vacation if you can and the most important thing is to sleep and sleep well for at least six hours a day.
